The eclectic international vibe is the result of 100 years of Steiner Waldorf influence, thanks to the location of the Michael Hall school on the fringes of the village. Scientology also has its UK headquarters and a school nearby, making for an eclectic mix of inhabitants and visitors. There are numerous creative schools, events and courses that will appeal to the artistically minded or anyone interested Anthroposophy, spirituality or Waldorf education.

Bring your bikes and cycle along the Forest Way and take sailing lessons, wild swim or enjoy the views at the cafe at Weir Wood reservoir.

THE MEANING OF HYRST RISE
